This book was so well written about half way through I had to check to see if it was a memoir (it’s not) and I was absolutely certain that the author Jennifer Gold must have been a marine biologist as well as an author! This is a story set mostly in the Olympic Peninsula , which is basically our back yard! Abby the main character struggles in her marriage and in life, but thankfully has the support of her family and some amazing friends. Along the way she starts to realize that everyone has these life types of challenges and it encourages her to get through them. I have to be honest, one of the things I enjoyed the most about this book was the north west feel. 🌊 Abby takes a job with a whale watching company in Port Townsend, a small city a couple hours away from Seattle, as their naturalist. I have taken many trips like this including one out of Port Townsend! There is nothing more exciting than seeing Orcas, whales and dolphins in their element! 🐳 This book was an easy read, I hope you consider picking it up, it goes on sale, TODAY!❤️ Thank you so much Jennifer Gold for gifting us an advanced readers copy of your beautiful book!
