I absolutely loved this book. White Rose, by Kip Wilson, tells the true story of a non-violent Nazi resistance ran by a young group of german students, written in free verse. This story stayed with me long after I was finished reading it. The courage that these young adults had is something to strive for. They stood up for what is right, even knowing what the consequences were if they were to be caught. My favorite quote from this book is “How can we expect justice in this world if we’re not prepared to sacrifice ourselves for what’s right?” If you haven’t aready, please pick this book up and read it!🌺🧜🏻♀️
