What’s the last book you read that you couldn’t put down??

Opium and Absinthe by Lydia Kang was that book for me!🌟 Set in late 1800s New York, Tillie Pembroke’s sister has just been murdered. She has 2 puncture wounds on her neck and all of her blood has been drained! More bodies are showing up with the same puncture wounds, is a vampire feasting on the people of New York??🧛🏻‍♂️ After a horse-riding accident leaves Tillie with a broken collar bone, she starts using and relying on Opium daily. She begins desperately investigating the death of her sister and the more uses opium the more she can’t decipher what is real and what isn’t. I LOVE that @lydiakang added quotes from Bram Stoker’s Dracula at the beginning of each chapter! I completely adore this book, it was a quick and entertaining read I hope hope hope there will be second book with these fun characters! If you liked The Stalking Jack the Ripper series, you’re gonna love this one!
