I must say that I am embarrassed by how long it took me to figure out who the murderer was…I am a seasoned aficionado of this genre afterall!
Leo and Alice have recently agreed to move in together, taking their relationship to the next level. Alice agrees to the house Leo finds sight unseen and takes the plunge believing it’s the best decision. She has wholeheartedly committed herself to this relationship and is looking forward to their new future together. Something seems off about their new home though and she can’t explain why she feels uneasy in the house. She soon finds out that Leo has lied to her. The house that he got such a great deal on, that he bought to start their life together in has a sinister past. The woman who lived in the house before them was murdered. Rumor has it that her husband did it but Alice feels a strange connection to the murdered woman and believes that the real killer is still out there. Perhaps he now has his sights set on Alice. Her multiple theories have everyone on edge and she soon finds herself all alone in her suspicions as her relationship with Leo unravels.
