The Girls With No Names by Serena Burdick releases TODAY!!!

Thank you sooo much @harlequinbooks and Mira Books for gifting us this ARC💗💗💗 I found this story to be heartbreaking and at times sweet and endearing. Serena Burdick takes us back in time to the early 1900’s. Little Effie Tildon wakes up one morning to find her sister gone. She becomes convinced that her dad has admitted her sister to The House of Mercy, a home for unfit girls. Effie schemes to get herself admitted to find and save her sister. She quickly realizes her mistake and becomes trapped herself. We follow Effie as she is subjected to hard manual labor and has to overcome many obstacles and betrayals. She must find a way back to her family as she can feel that time is running out. This book is really well written and engaging. I found myself emotionally drawn in to the story, unable to stop reading. I would highly recommend this book to all readers. It’s impossible to not become entranced by Effie and all she endures.
