Thank you to Betty Boltè for sending us her book Notes of Love and War!

This is the second book of hers that I’ve read and it did not disappoint! I absolutely love her writing style. It’s effortless and engaging and so easy to get caught up in the story.

Audrey wants to go to work during WW2 while all the men are off fighting. She gains permission from her father and sets out to become a journalist. We get to follow along during her struggles and accomplishments as she navigates this new world of being a working woman. Her talent proves her worth but she still has to fight the stigma of women belonging in the home. Her strength and resilience are inspiring as is her complete dedication to her new profession.

I really enjoyed this book and hope you guys read it and enjoy it too!
