Gosh what a unique and moving story. ❤️Monique is a talented author, I never felt like I was reading a book, I felt like I was learning about someone’s story. There were many aspects to this book that were close to my heart. There aren’t a lot of books about adoptions, and being adopted myself, I appreciated the main character Ms. Dean for her open and nurturing ways. Mental illness is discussed throughout this book and it’s something that I have always struggled to comprehend. Eight Words really helped me to understand more about bipolar and someone’s perspective that is living and struggling with it. Alyssa said she experienced every single emotion possible, while reading this book. We are so lucky to have this opportunity to read incredible books like this, please go check this one out!
