It is set to release on January 21, 2020 so please mark the date on your calendars!!! This book immediately caught our attention because of its ties to Haiti. It is the perfect book for us! We go to Haiti frequently and have enjoyed learning the language so much. The Haitian Creole in this book was a lot of fun for us to read! This book spanned over many generations starting in Haiti and ending in New Orleans. There is so much history and depth to this story, it absolutely overflows with creativity and imagination. We are so thankful we were gifted this Advanced Readers Copy by Macmillan Books!!! This is the kind of story that needs to be told over and over. If you enjoyed the book Homegoing, then you will love this book as well.
