I didn’t read the first book in this series, but it didn’t matter, I was hooked and adored it!

A Risky Game by Alyson Gerber, book 2 of The Liars Society series.  This is YA, but genuinely can be enjoyed by all ages, it’s probably aimed for middle school, but I think could appeal to both older and younger.

This is a dual POV of Weatherby (I love this name) and her cousin Jack.  They are part of an elite family and attend a prestigious private, Boston School.  It sounds like they live a wonderful and privileged life, but Jack’s father is a terrible person and throws his reputation and status around to do whatever he wants.  Weatherby has only recently even found this part of her family and she’s hoping that if all goes well, she will be able to meet her dad!

As the two begin the very real and very scary game in order to join The Last Heir, a powerful secret society, the game feels more like a threat and the stakes are too high to quit.

I hope you get a chance to check out A Risky Game and really both of the Liars Society books.

Thank you @alysongerber for this gifted copy!
