This story is a good mixture of being lighthearted and fun while dealing with very real issues throughout. The more I read, the more in love with this book I became! It kept getting better and better and I did not want the story to end!
Samantha Casey is a school librarian whose beloved school becomes in danger of serious upheaval. She learns that a former colleague of hers is set to become the new principal. She is equal parts excited and mortified. She used to be secretly in love with him and fled her previous home to distance herself from him. However, she knows he would be the perfect replacement as principal. She soon finds out that he is not the man she used to know. What happened to cause this drastic change? Can she breakthrough and help him find his former self or is he beyond help? Is her treasured school doomed or can she salvage her home away from home?
This is definitely a book that I will be rereading in the future, that is how much I adored this book and it’s characters!
