I couldn’t be happier to take a moment to read on the balcony, with this beautiful view and this adorable book! Never Meant to Stay by Trisha Das is just too cute!!
Samara is a talented photographer and lives with her father in Delhi. When his job sends him quickly off to Nigeria, he decides to have her stay with an old family friend. She could easily stay by herself but follows her father’s wishes and lands herself in a hectic and stressed-out family.
It’s been years since she’s seen the Khanna family and they have way too many things going on to properly host her, but she makes herself at home and promptly starts working through all their issues. Sharav the now head of household after his father passed away, is not looking forward to a family guest, but quickly realizes, Samara is making life easier for everyone at home.
Never Meant to Stay, is even cuter than I expected, I absolutely adore the characters, and it’s a romcom, but without the feeling of a cliché romcom. I hope you get a chance to pick this up, because I know you’re gonna love it too!
