If you were to travel back to your family’s original country, where would that take you?

I would be traveling back to South Korea and I’m hoping to do this before the year is over!

I really spent my time reading the English Bookshop, I was so invested in this story. Lucy is from Seattle, her family business is struggling and she’s desperate to find a solution.

Her biological father has recently passed away and left a small bookshop in the village of Wakesby England. She has to travel there to wrap up the sale of the bookshop, but quickly falls in love with the quaint spot and the people. I googled Wakesby hoping it was a real place, I would love to visit if it was!

I loved the way Janis Wildy wrote this and tied everything together in end. Being from Seattle and also having family in another country I was able to relate to Lucy and adored her character.
