I love a Tess Gerritsen novel!

I’ve read so many of her books and couldn’t wait to dive into book 2 of the Martini Club series, The Summer Guests. Spy Coast is the name of book one and while it helps to already know the characters, I feel like The Summer Guests stands alone just fine!

This time Maggie and her book club of retired CIA operatives help out with the search for a missing 15 yr old girl visiting their tiny charming town. During the search of a nearby pond, an old skeleton was found. The problem- there are no missing persons on file in their sleepy town of Purity, Maine. Soon their investigation takes many twists and turns as they try to figure out where the missing girl is, who took her and why and whose skeleton was just discovered? A lot of deeply buried secrets are also revealed as they navigate their way through the investigation… secrets that some would go to great lengths to keep hidden.
