I absolutely adored The Mysterious Bakery on Rue de Paris by Evie Woods!

I’ve read another of her books previously and she is such a good writer! This one goes on sale April 8 and I promise you that you will absolutely love it! The book also references our fave place to get hot chocolate in Paris- Angelinas! (IYKYK)

Edie is an Irish transplant on her way to her new job in Paris…or so she thinks. When she shows up to the bakery on Rue de Paris- in actual Paris, she is quickly told that she needs to be at the bakery on Rue de Paris in a completely different town in France! The charming and historical town of Compiègne. Her visions of living in exciting Paris quickly give way to her reality. She’s left everything she knows behind to help out at a small family bakery and definitely feels out of her element. However as time goes by she starts to find her rhythm and soon discovers that the bakery and the family that owns it has an amazing history and also some very big secrets.
