We are planning on rain and gray skies all weekend, but are used to this kind of weather in June.
In the Accidental Suffragist, Helen Fox’s daughter Abigail dies while working in unsafe conditions in a factory fire. Helen finds herself immersed into the Women’s Suffrage Movement and starts to gain some self-worth among these amazing women.
I found parts of this book difficult to read, but appreciated learning more about this period in history. It’s easy to forget what these women went through to fight for us to have the right to vote. Galia Gichon is a talented author and I hope to read more of her work soon!
Thank you so much to @pagesandmore and @bookpublicityservices for gifting us this copy! This book published on June 1st and is available on Kindle Unlimited and our Amazon Storefront!
