This book takes you on an adventure! Hadley is in an abusive marriage and knows it’s time to get out. Grace is at her wits end, beyond broke with a baby to care for and a deployed husband who just gambled away their rent money. Fate brings these two women together and what ensues is a Thelma and Louise type experience. They end up splitting the money they stole from Hadley’s crooked husband that is unknowingly being watched by the FBI. They soon find themselves on the run from the law as they are each trying to find their way to their own freedoms. What is so great about this story is that they stick together, helping each other until the very end.
