We were gifted this copy by @penzlerpub and I couldn’t wait to dive right in! I love a good thriller! Tessa is on the run from her abusive husband. No matter her situation, she always falls for the wrong guy…until she meets Jace. This time she feels like finally she met someone who truly loves her. Jace and Tessa meet under very sketchy circumstances and barely know each other when they have an impromptu wedding. Tessa is so happy that she feels like she can finally let her guard down…just when everything goes wrong. Jace returns home from a late client meeting to find Tessa missing, a broken window and blood. He swears he didn’t hurt Tessa but his lies and the mounting evidence against him say different!
