Do you like when a book surprises you?

I am the type of person that love surprises…. sometimes.😁

Not That Girl by Alisha Perkins was extremely well written. I read this book very quickly and enjoyed the writing style.

Finley Harper had a tumultuous relationship with her mother, however after her mom passes away, she begins to understand why they had so many issues.

I enjoyed Finn’s character, I think @anwperkins is excellent at character building and I was right there alongside Finn as she started to uncover her past.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but there were definitely surprises and twists, some were great and some could use a trigger warning.
