I’ve read a few books, but our trip to Egypt last year was such an amazing history lesson! **I’ve added a few of our fave photos/videos!
Daughter of Sekhmet by Abigail Keyes set in ancient Egypt, I loved the main character Sati, a young girl determined to fight for what she believes is right. She was taught how to read, write and even physically fight by her father, at a time when women didn’t typically do any of these things.
This was a quick and easy read, I didn’t want to put it down once I got started! I hope the author has another book already started!
