Do you ever have family drama?

This was my first Jennifer Weiner book, and I’m sold!  If you enjoy family drama, especially with sisters, this realllly is your book.  I don’t have a sister, so I’ve never experienced this kind of drama in any way.  But I loved the writing by this author, even though I don’t have a sister, I could feel the anxiety, the heartache and the love.

Cassie and Zoe are the famous Griffin Sisters, a pop duo of the 2000s.  Cassie is a musical genius and is absolutely mesmerizing whenever she plays the keyboard and sings.  Zoe is the beautiful one, the star the main attraction!  This dynamic works for them, for the most part, but how long can it last like this?

When the band breaks up in the most tragic way, Cassie escapes to Alaska to hide out forever and Zoe because a typical suburban housewife.  But these secrets and betrayals are still there and still causing them both pain.
