Djalu and Ana were never really on the same page, even after they married and started a family, so it wasn’t a big surprise when it didn’t work out.
Although neither of them did something serious to ruin the relationship, they just couldn’t see a future together. However, they both have love for each other, so you can’t help but root for them and hope they can eventually see eye to eye.
I adored all the culture and language of the Maori people as part of their story. The author does a great job of explaining the references. Even though most of this book is set in the US, I’ve always wanted to visit New Zealand and hope to one day soon!
I enjoyed this one and realized I do love reading about second chances, I hope you check this one out!
