I decided to give this book a try without really knowing anything about it and I was NOT disappointed! What a great book! The main character finds herself in the midst of a personal crisis right at the beginning of the story. To cope with her issues, she loses herself in a true crime podcast. Soon she recognizes the name of one of the victims in the podcast and it brings up dangerous memories of her past. We then follow her on an adventure to seek out the truth of what really happened to this friend and we learn that not all is as it seems in his life or her own.
