Chanel Cleeton is one of the reasons historical fiction is my favorite genre.

I just recently reread Next Year in Havana and it was just as good as I remembered, but this book is hands down, my favorite.

The Most Beautiful Girl in Cuba is set in the late 1800s and Cuba is fighting for its independence from Spain. Evangelina is wrongfully imprisoned in Cuba, Marina is secretly helping fight for Cuba and Grace is a journalist trying to make a name for herself in New York, I loved following each story.

The Perez saga continues but it was wonderful going back even further to understand their history.

This was a huge 5 star read for me, and it’s being released today! I will try to add it to our Amazon Storefront right away so you can purchase it!

Thank you so so much @penguinrandomhouse and @berkleypub for gifting us this book!
