Catherine Taylor’s debut novel, Beyond The Moon, is a historical fiction book that I absolutely enjo

This is such an intriguing love story! Louisa is wrongly committed to a deplorable psychiatric hospital in 2017. While exploring a dilapidated and abandoned wing of the hospital, she stumbles across a man named Robert. He appears to be all alone, recovering in a completely furnished and functioning hospital room...unlike the rest of the wing. She can’t understand what is happening...Robert speaks and acts as if he is from another time. It turns out that he is living in 1916 and is a British soldier recovering from injuries sustained in The Great War. How is this even possible? Louisa tries to visit Robert as often as she can but one day he is gone, healed and sent back to war. We follow Louisa and Robert as they travel through their respective eras, he is trying to figure out if she was real and she is trying to find her way back to him. There is so much depth to this story and so many moving parts that I was anxious to find out how the story ended! I had a very hard time disciplining myself to not jump ahead and cheat🤣 We want to thank @catherine_taylor_author soooo much for sending us your book! We appreciate authors and the hard work they put into these amazing stories
