Have you ever been to Japan?

It’s one of my favorite countries, and I hope to go back soon! I love that the Easy life in Kamusari starts out in Yokohama, which is one of my favorite cities in Japan.

Yuki leaves his home in Yokohama and is forced to work in a small community called Kamusari. Their motto is to “take it easy” but the people there aren’t very welcoming to newcomers. He is taught how to become a forester by some interesting men and then learns about some of their traditions and myths.

The Easy Life in Kamusari by Shion Miura was beautifully written and translated, the whole book had a very peaceful feeling for me. I am so thankful to @otrpr for this gifted Advance Reader Copy and a cute Amazon book tote!
