Alyssa and I truly really aren’t very outdoorsy, however we do actually find ourselves outside a lot more often than you would expect. We really do live in a gorgeous area, surrounded by mountains and water, so sometimes we just have to get out and explore.
On this hike we got a little lost, we got into a karate fight with spiders and had to eat some of our emergency rations. But! We toted around The Earth Almanac by Ted Williams and it just felt so appropriate! Ted Williams is brilliant in helping you to appreciate nature from a different perspective.
This is a great book to cozy up to while it’s raining outside and the leaves are changing colors. Even if you’re like us and not very outdoorsy, anyone can enjoy this book.
