I was lucky to get a sunny day for this photo. We love to take outdoor photos, we live in such a beautiful area, but the fall and winter tend to make it very challenging.
You guys, one of my favorite movies is the 90s romcom, My Best Friend’s Wedding. Maybe Once, Maybe Twice by Alison Rose Greenberg had this feeling but with more depth. Maggie Vine made a pact with her best friend Garrett Scholl that if they weren’t married by 35, they would marry each other. They’ve always had an amazing connection, but things never worked out. She’s now 35 and is ready to follow through with the pact but finds out way too late that he’s recently engaged.
One thing she forgot, kind of, is she also made this same pact as a teenager to her first boyfriend Asher Reyes. However, Asher became a super famous actor and while she never forgot about him, she assumed that pact was over a long time ago.
