In high school I worked at Zumiez which was the skate, surf and snowboarding shop, just like in the book! During that time, my best friends worked in the mall too, so we would always meet up on breaks, or pretend to shop while the other one was working.
The food court was a big part of The Mall by Megan McCafferty, AND one of my favorite places, so I stopped and grabbed some boba tea while taking this photo.😋
I had so much nostalgia reading this book it takes place in the 90s, there are scrunchies, mixtapes, music stores and cucumber melon body spray! ☎️
You didn’t have to grow up in the 90s to appreciate this fun story, if you love YA and anything with cute boys and friendship, you’re gonna love this one!💜
This was my first book by Megan McCafferty but I have already started scoping out which book I want to read next!
