This time we are reviewing Little Tea by Claire Fullerton.
This book touches on a myriad of issues. Family drama, racism, alcoholism, depression and more. It also explores the boundaries of true friendship and love.
Celia is a privileged southern girl who up and moved to California when something major upset the trajectory her life. To find out what happened, we jump between her present life and her young adult life in 1980’s Mississippi.
Celia is on a long overdue girls trip with her lifelong best friends Ava and Renny. As they are spending time together and reminiscing about the past, we jump back in time and find out what actions led to completely change the course of her life and the future she had all planned out for herself. Has time healed all wounds or will Celia forever be waiting for an explanation that may never come?
This was an intriguing and engaging story. I was wanting to skip to the back to find out what in the world went wrong! I refrained. I am happy to have read it and hope you read it too! The best part is...it’s available on Kindle Unlimited for free right now!
