Random Attachment by Gertrude T. Kitty. This book had me on my toes! At first, I kind of hated the main character, Mia, but very soon I started to understand that she had been dealt a bad hand in life and I ended up loving her!!! She is such a sweet spirited girl with many insecurities but works hard to overcome the cruelties of her life. While she is dealing with a broken home life, there is also a monster on the loose preying on young women and he has set his sights on Mia. Those around her are being targeted and hurt by association. This book is full of suspense and keeps you guessing until the end. This book had me in its grip from about a quarter of the way in and I found it hard to put down!
