This is such a good suspense novel! I was immediately hooked from the first chapter!

Eva is a police woman tightly knit to her friends, family and community. She sees her good friend’s husband dashing out of the police department with barely an acknowledgement. What is a police officer to do? Naturally she is going to follow him. She finally confronts him on the train where he tells her off, very uncharacteristically. Once back at the station she inquires to what he was doing there when she is told that he filed a report saying that if anyone comes looking for him, he does not want to be found…this puts her in a very awkward position. This man has just left his wife and children and they don’t even know it yet! What is she going to do???
