Ok wow this book surprised me!! At first glance, I thought this was a typical romance book, which isn’t my first choice of genre. However, I was delightfully mistaken!! This is a clever title for a book based on the Shirtwaist Strike of 1909 in New York City. Historical fiction is always my go to, especially when based on real people and real events! Sarah Fischer is the the girl leading the strike and taking the brunt of the repercussions in this book. While reading you experience and feel the outrage and injustice these women experienced while striking against the factory owners. Thank you so so much @writerlindseybrooks for gifting us a copy of your book! If you like romance or historical fiction, you will absolutely love this book!!
