Right away, in the first chapter, we are reading from the perspective of a killer as he/she watches the victim die in a room full of wedding guests. The victim is Trevor, the groom. Apparently Trevor was blackmailing everyone in the party, blackmailing them into convincing their best friend and bride, Fiona into marrying him.
