This amazing woman helped guide her famous husband, prime minister Winston Churchill through World War 1 and 2. She not only saved his actual life, but many times saved his political career. She was intelligent, intuitive and understood the delicate balance of giving him suggestions versus forcing her beliefs on him. She was a fierce fighter for women’s rights, but put her husband above everyone and everything. As soon as I saw this book Lady Clementine I knew it was something I would love! Marie Benedict is one of my favorite historical fiction writers!
