My daughter and I used to watch it together religiously. The love for that show prompted me to go check out the author of the books that the show was based on. Because of that, I have read many books by Tess Gerritsen! When we received The Spy Coast to review I couldn’t wait to get started!!!
Maggie is a retired CIA operative living out her retirement in rural Maine as a chicken farmer with her closest fellow retirees nearby. Haunted by memories of her last mission 16 yrs prior, she does her best to try and live a somewhat normal life. When a mysterious woman comes knocking on her door asking about the woman Maggie despises most in the world she starts to wonder how she was found under her new name and identity and is left with one conclusion. There was a breach at the CIA. Later that same night the mysterious woman is left dead on Maggie’s front lawn and leaves Maggie and her friends desperately seeking answers. Maggie will have to decide who she can trust with details of what exactly went down 16 years ago and try to figure out why someone is after her now, so many years later.
