When I opened this book, I found a beautiful custom map designed and hand drawn by Timothy Gonzales, @myths.and.maps. Honestly, why does every book not have a map?
I love the details in this book, after the map, there’s a photo of Neuschwanstein Castle! I’ve seen this unique castle in person, and I love that @azraelwriter included it in his book! By using the most famous castle in Bavaria, it sets the vibe for this intriguing fairytale.
A young man, Jacob is just on the cusp of wanting to be grown up and respected, but still wanting to play childish pranks, and he’s learning lessons the hard way.
He gets himself into some trouble, and this is where the fantasy part of this short story begins. I don’t typically read this genre, and there were some gross parts, but the writing style is fantastic, so it made for a quick and easy read!
