Do you like translated fiction?

I haven’t read many translated books, but every time I do, I am always fascinated to read someone else’s perspective on life. Black Foam by Haji Jabir translated by Sawad Hussain and Marcia Lynx Qualey, is about an East African man’s journey to Israel. As he searches for his true home, he does what he can to survive. He tells lies, he cheats, steals, and even creates scenarios of chaos and then becomes the hero. At the end of the day he just wants to fit in and find a place where he can live peacefully.

I appreciated this story and am grateful to @otrpr for this gifted copy!

Black Foam publishes today! And is available on our Amazon storefront!
