Do you like to swim?

I’ve never been a good swimmer and I don’t even really like pools very much. BUT I’ve always loved the idea of having a pool!

I loved that Kept Animals by Kate Milliken was set in California with beautiful scenery. This is a heartbreaking coming of the age story. Rory Ramos works for very wealthy people at the ranch her stepfather manages. As she gets to know the other teens their relationships become tumultuous, each trying to find their way. This is an intriguing and moving story, I appreciate how the author was able to tie all of the events together.

This was my first book by @katemillikenwrites and I am looking forward to more of her books!
