I’ve read many books where the main characters are not people I actually like, and I tend to enjoy those books a little less.
Thankfully Dear Eliza by Andrea J. Stein was an endearing book, and I adored all of the characters. Even the ones I wasn’t liking for a while.
Eliza’s mom died 10 years ago, and now after her father has passed her step mom Carol thinks she can rewrite the will and take away her inheritance. Eliza is barely hanging on emotionally when a letter is given to her by her aunt and her world shatters.
As she tries to come to terms with this letter and understand the past a little more, she works through personal issues that might have been holding her back from life.
I really loved this story and hope you get a chance to read it!
