Do you like carnivals?

I love carnivals but the rides always make me a little nervous.

In Kindreds by B.B. Russell, Lilah finds her self in foster care after her grandmother recently passed away. Everything is a bit of a mystery, the new family she’s living with, the kids at school and even her neighbor Joey. Lilah is trying to figure out if this is just because she’s in a new place or if something strange is going on.

She follows Joey into a magical circus and realizes things are not what they seem! The more she tries to figure out what is going on with this strange circus the more she gets wrapped up in with it. She is being heavily recruited to join and isn’t sure if this is the place for her. I love that this is the first book in the Nolianna series, I’m looking forward to the next one!
