We were gifted a copy of this book and I enjoyed it cover to cover!

Emily is a young lawyer whose past tragic loss of her parents haunts her still. When she is given the task to archive the contents of a historical church in Seattle, she dives right in and discovers the diaries of a long deceased woman. Reading the diaries and going through the history of the church, Emily slowly realizes that she has not properly dealt with the death of her family. The diaries and the church help her make the daunting step of finally grieving her parents and start living her life to the fullest.
