This is a suspense novel set in the 1800’s. Marion has just received news that her beloved sister, Alice, has committed suicide in the insane asylum where she was being held. Marion entrusted Alice to their brother and never agreed with his decision to have Alice committed. Marion makes the journey home to bury Alice but can’t shake the feeling that things aren’t adding up. She becomes convinced that Alice did not commit suicide but was in fact murdered. In her quest to prove her theory correct, she finds herself in more danger than she could have ever imagined!
