This is a murder mystery series that follows Mia, a mob princess in Queens, NY. She runs a legit catering business but still uses her connections to the Family when it suits. After hosting a baby shower for her long time friend, her friend’s step mother is found murdered. Mia can’t believe who the police suspect and has to go out on her own and investigate.

This book is a good one! The relationships in her big Italian family is very entertaining and fun to read about! Mia has a knack for solving mysteries and you can’t help but fall in love with her character!
